Today is my one year anniversary since I had gastric bypass surgery. ALOT has happened in a year as you can see in my previous posts. I want to thank everyone that has been along for this wild and crazy ride. My family for being there for me when I wanted to give up. When I was needy and demanded their full attention to take care of me. My boyfriend Peter for holding my hand when the pain was just too much. For being able to tell from one look that I need a cold wash cloth and a pill lol. For my mother, sweet mother, and her strength. I know how hard it was for her to be away from me when I was at my sickest. I know allowing other people to take care of her daughter was hard but I hope she knows that her support was appreciated. For my co workers for completely understanding and supporting me through the whole process. For Laci allowing me to lay on the floor by her desk when I felt sick from eating something so fast. For Lynn offering me crackers when I felt nauseous. For everyone at work for their kind compliments on my new look. For my facebook friends for always supporting me and "liking" my status' of weight loss progress.
I want everyone to know that I greatly appreciate everything you have done, said or helped me with. There is nothing I can do to show you how much it all means to me. I hope people know that I will be there for them when they need me as well.
As of today and according to the scale here at work, I weight 160lbs. That is 130lbs difference from a year ago today. Way to go me! I can't believe I did it. I still have plenty more to go but I am so happy that I made it to this weight. I love you all!
