Plateau

My weight has been at a steady 160lbs for the last 3 months. I started going to the gym last week but I get bored with my work outs. My main reason to go is for the strength training, especially in my arms b/c they are so flabby!

One thing that I have had to adjust to is low blood sugar. One of my biggest fears in life is a needle prick. Well I am completely over that fear b/c I check my blood sugar at least once a day now. Getting used to something like that is hard but what other choice do I have? It's because of all the carbs that I enjoy eating but carbs aren't good for you so I guess it's ok that I avoid them. I most definitely miss my morning bagels!

Some people expect me to be upset b/c of the complications from this surgery but honestly I can only be positive. If I eat the right things and keep track of what I eat, I should be fine. I will age way too quickly if I focus on the negative things b/c there is nothing I can do to change them, I just have to work around them.
